Creative California was recently hired by Grubb & Ellis to photograph a retail building in Rocklin, CA. Having plenty of experience in the real estate industry, both commercial and residential, we were confident that we would do a great job. But when it came time to research what other companies were using for their advertising photography, we soon became worried about the job. So, our goal was to produce photos that would be of practical use for real estate marketing, but would still stand out above the rest. Here's a before and after shot (the before photo was used for marketing the property prior to our being hired):
In our photo, most of the details shown in the original photo are visible, but with the addition of artistic flair that draws the viewer’s eye. Same subject, different results. We are confident that when this listing is presented to potential tenants or investors, the building will not only look more attractive to them and generate more interest, but also show that the listing agent put extra effort and resources into presenting the property. The new photos will portray the property in an improved light, and the listing agent as well.
