The Rise of Super Premium - Elmer T. Lee and Blanton's take the reins
This issue marks the end of the third year we've worked in partnership with The Bourbon Review. There have been some ups: fun design work, meeting great people, learning more about an expanding industry, and watching a pet project grow in to a legitimate, quality publication that is recognized throughout its market. There have also been some downs: the stress and challenge of meeting deadlines, computers crashing and having to redo work, and the disappointment of having to balance deadlines versus wanting to pour time into creating some more challenging designs. Overall, though, things have always been fun and we've put out quality issue after quality issue, and have gained recognition in the industry.
One design I enjoy this time around was submitted by Maker's Mark. The design work is simple, but the photography is what makes it compelling. Take a look at the images below.
So, if you like bourbon, and want to support a still-young player in a dying industry (print), then check out The Bourbon Review. |
