Who We Are
Creative California was founded by Josh Rubin, a corporate and freelance graphic designer. He understood the wide range of clients’ needs, and knew that he simply couldn’t meet those needs on his own. But he didn’t want to just outsource work. Doing so would force Josh to raise his rates and lengthen the time necessary to complete a project.
On the other hand, he knew that full-blown design firms would be far too expensive to be feasible for most businesses.
So the solution was to combine the best qualities of both worlds: the creativity, flexibility and pricing of a freelancer with the professionalism, array of skills and team-mentality of a firm. That solution is Creative California.
Creative California is a co-op that hires creative professionals in all fields relevant to the marketing needs of clients. We select our team members based on a number of criteria: talent, professionalism, attitude, availability, dedication and drive. As a result of having members in a number of fields, all areas of a project can benefit from the talents of experts.
In the near future, our goal is to have a representative in every region of California, as we believe that being personally available to our clientele is important.
